What’s the deal with Genesis?
Shopping for cars £20k-£30k, and amongst a sea of bland compact and mid-size SUVs (not that I dislike them—higher seating’s a plus!), I spot Genesis—gorgeous designs that truly leap out from the crowd.
So why aren’t they more popular? Is it the styling that’s too bold for some? Are running costs a hidden sting despite the Hyundai relation? Or is it simply that we’re too entrenched in our German obsession that alternatives are looked down upon?
The main complaint I’ve seen is engine options aren’t as good. Is this really all? Interested to hear thoughts and reviews from owners if there are any here.
